Chestnut Tree House is very closely monitoring the situation concerning the COVID-19 virus and we are in close contact with Public Health England and the NHS.

Due to the national lockdown from Tuesday 5 January, all volunteer roles at the hospice, in our retail shops and those visiting in the community are currently suspended for the foreseeable future.
Please keep checking back here for further updates.
December 2020
As our retail shops are now open again, we have welcomed back our retail volunteers, and are currently recruiting for more volunteers in a number of shops. Please contact us to find out more.
November 2020
All volunteer roles at the hospice and in our retail shops are currently suspended for the foreseeable future.
When our retail shops reopen, we will invite retail volunteers back into their roles if they feel comfortable to do so, and hope to welcome applications for new shop volunteers.
We will be reviewing hospice volunteers returning in due course.
Thank you for your ongoing support of Chestnut Tree House.
August 2020
The majority of Chestnut Tree House volunteers who come onsite have their volunteering on pause at the moment.
However, all of our shops are now open so we are inviting our retail volunteers back to their roles if they feel comfortable to do so, and welcoming applications for new retail volunteers. Please take a look here to see the contact details for each shop, and please contact us if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.
Looking after the wellbeing of our volunteers is important to us so, please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you at this difficult time.
If you have any questions please get in contact with Voluntary Services by calling 01903 706315 or email volunteers@stbh.org.uk.
We are not currently actively recruiting for any hospice-based roles, however we are accepting volunteer application forms. Please contact us if you would like us to send you one.
