Waves Music Therapy

Join us at Chestnut Tree House on the first week of a 6-week music therapy group for children and young people supported by Chestnut Tree House.

The group will provide a gentle and supportive space to explore music together through instruments, sound, listening, movement and sensory musical experiences.

Sessions will be adapted to the individual needs and preferences of the children attending, including children who communicate non-verbally.

Music therapy can support communication, self-expression, connection and relaxation, and there is no expectation to participate in any particular way.

Children are welcome to join in at their own pace, and no musical experience is needed.

Alongside the group, there will also be opportunities for individual (1:1) music therapy sessions. These sessions offer a supportive one-to-one space where music can be used to encourage connection, communication,  emotional expression and wellbeing.
