Thank you for your interest in Hit the Downs MTB.

Unfortunately we've made the difficult decision to not run Hit the Downs in 2024. If you're interested in completing a cycling challenge, you can still get involved at any charity event and fundraise for us. We've selected some of our favourites, you might find interesting:

If you were looking to take part in Hit the Downs for our sister hospice – St Barnabas House – then there’s lots of fundraising opportunities on the St Barnabas website for you to look through.

 

Why fundraise?

Your fundraising is helping children just like Rupert, who died at just four moths old. Rupert’s dad, Sam, took part in Hit The Downs in 2020:

Hit the Downs is amazing, it has a great atmosphere and the whole day had such a buzz. Even when we had the killer hills to climb, people were cheering us on and it made it so much easier. It meant a lot to me that I could give something back to Chestnut Tree House.
