You are invited to join us and hold your very own Teddy Bears Picnic between Friday 7 – Sunday 9 May 2021.
Could you fill your nursery or playgroup with your favourite teddy bears? Dig out your favourite childhood teddy bear? Or have a Teddy Bears Picnic in the park with family and friends? Whatever you choose to do, we’d love it if you could join us and raise much needed funds for your local children’s hospice.
Be sure to tag us in your snaps in our very special Teddy Bears Picnic event page and you could be in with the chance of winning some very exciting prizes!
Entry is free, but there is a suggested donation of £3 that will make a big difference to your local children’s hospice.
Set a date. Ask children (and staff) to bring their favourite teddy bear along. And have a special picnic out in the sunshine. We have lots of special resources to help make your picnic extra magical. Visit the downloads section for some bunting, activity sheets, and much more!
If you can’t bring in your favourite teddies due to COVID-19, then don’t worry, there are lots of other ways you can still get involved. You could take the children on a bear hunt, or colour in your own teddy bears using our colouring sheet.
It’s free to hold a Teddy Bears Picnic, but any donations will make a big difference to local children who need hospice care. Could you set up a fundraising page and ask all your picnic-goers to donate for taking part?
Get together with friends and family* and enjoy a Teddy Bears Picnic on a video call, in your garden or local park!
Dust off your tea set, start baking and enjoy a themed afternoon with your household at home or in your garden.
We are closely monitoring the situation concerning the COVID-19 virus. Please ensure your plans fit within government guidelines.
