Heidi and Eloise’s story

Losing a child is an extremely traumatic and distressing experience, Victoria and her husband sadly had to endure this tragedy twice. When their baby daughters – Heidi and Eloise – both became seriously ill, Chestnut Tree House was there to care for the whole family. Victoria talks about the precious time they spent together, creating lasting memories.

Just like any 11-year-old, Andre loves music, going to school and spending time with his big sister, but unlike many boys his age he also has a life-shortening disorder called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
