Show Your Love

This winter, we're asking our community to show their love for children's hospice care

Hospice care makes it possible for families to spend precious time together and show their love for one another in ways that matter most to them.

That might be about having time just to sit and hold their loved one’s hand, or creating memories with an unforgettable experience.

This winter, we’re sharing the story of Kai and his family, who we supported through Kai’s short but impactful life.

Kai's story

When Kai was just five months old, his mums Leanne and Sara found out he had a life-limiting brain condition. He would never walk or talk, and was not expected to live past the age of two.

Kai sadly died last year at the age of six, just a few weeks before Christmas. But, thanks to Chestnut Tree House, the years that Kai, his mums and his little sister Aya had together were packed with love, laughter and precious memories.

Remember a loved one this Christmas

This winter, we warmly invite you to dedicate a heart in memory of a loved one.

Every dedication we receive will be included in a wonderful display at our adult hospices, Martlets in Hove and St Barnabas House in Worthing. You are welcome to visit the hospice to see the display and spend some quiet time to reflect. The displays are the same at each hospice so you can choose the site closest to you.
