Meet our partners

We work with some amazing local and national companies who support our charity. Find out about our corporate partnerships below:

Coole Bevis LLP

Coole Bevis LLP are a leading Sussex Law firm who service the local area with offices in Brighton, Hove, Horsham and Worthing, and who are dedicated to making a difference – inside and outside the office! They have been fantastic supporters of Chestnut Tree House since April 2024, following a vote by their employees. This was in recognition of the wonderful work the hospice does to provide care services and community support for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

Recent activity includes two of their employees taking on the iconic Brighton to London bike ride, raising over £800! And employees at the firm also generously donated a total of 35 bags of clothes and other items to be sold at our charity shops which are located across Sussex.

Stanhill Court Hotel

“The unwavering dedication and commitment demonstrated by Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice in championing such an important cause has inspired the team at Stanhill Court Hotel to get involved and offer our support to the charity to the best of our abilities. With many exciting ideas and initiatives to raise vital funds in mind, we look forward to a very positive and productive collaboration with the team at Chestnut Tree Children’s Hospice and hope to make a difference in the local community.”

South Lodge Hotel and Spa

With over a decade of support, South Lodge Hotel and Spa are one of our longest-standing partnerships. Recently their generosity helped us put on a series of special Afternoon Tea events at the House for all the families of children we support to come in and connect with each other.

“As a B Corp business, it is a key ethos of ours to work with and support the local community and charities. We have been working with Chestnut Tree House as our corporate charity since 2009 and have raised well over £100,000 to date through events, auction prizes and providing function space for Chestnut Tree House to host events. The work undertaken by the charity providing hospice care services and community support for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions is incredible and we are extremely proud to play our little part by supporting this amazing charity.”

– Dan Wait, General Manager.

Mowgli Street Food

In February 2023, Nisha Katona MBE brought her restaurant chain to Brighton- and with it she chose us as the local charity her restaurant would be supporting. Nisha said of their support:

“We’re delighted to adopt Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice as our house charity for the Brighton restaurant. We know the charity is an important part of the local community, supporting families who are living in Brighton & Hove as well as across East and West Sussex. Being able to increase our charity partners and raise more money for them each year motivates us to take Mowgli to even more cities across the UK.” Read the full story >

Southern Rail

Southern Rail chose to support us during a special charity tour in May 2023, organised with the help of the Branch Line Society, to mark the retirement of Southern’s Class 313 trains.

The farewell tour visited Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Brighton, Three Bridges, Ore and Newhaven. Ticket sales, a raffle and an on-board auction raised a total of £25,000, which was divided between us and Railway Children, a charity for at-risk youngsters. Read the full story >
