About Brighton Marathon

From the start line buzz in picturesque Preston Park to the finish line ecstasy along Brighton’s stunning seafront, the Brighton Marathon will carry you through the vibrant city streets and across the panoramic vista of Ovingdean cliffs for a run you’ll never forget.

If you’ve secured your own place, we’d love to welcome you to our team! While there’s no minimum fundraising target, we encourage you to raise as much as you can. You’ll enjoy the same benefits as our charity place runners.

With a stunning seaside backdrop, Brighton is home to one of the best marathons in the UK.

From Preston Park, you’ll hit the seafront and head out to Ovingdean before coming back through the city to Portslade. Re-joining the promenade at Hove, it’s a flat run to the finish on Madeira Drive.

You need to be 18 years old on race day to take part in the Marathon.
