Get involved

There are many ways to get involved and support your local children's hospice.

We rely on fundraising, shops, volunteers, donations and support from people like you to keep providing our specialist care to the community. Running the hospice costs nearly £5m a year and any and all contributions make a real difference to the local people and families we care for.

There are so many ways that you can get involved and help support us, take a look below for some ideas!

Fundraise for us

From sponsored walks, runs and rides to sky-dives and wing walks. Whether you want to join in with an organised challenge or dream up your own, you can fundraise for Chestnut Tree House.

See our list of events for some inspiration, and if you need help with your sponsorship we’re on hand to help, with everything you need to know to get fundraising.

The Big Hoot

Get ready for Chichester and Arundel’s first large scale outdoor art trail in summer 2024! Our owls will be swooping into public green spaces, Chichester high street and harbour, and Arundel’s historic town centre during the summer holidays, providing a fun day out for the entire family. Get your business, group or school involved

Your business, group or school can take part in any fundraiser, all while boosting company morale, raising awareness, and having fun! Take a look at our simple ideas for fundraising with your colleagues, classmates or community group.

If you’re a business, you can also choose us as your charity of the year or make use of the Payroll Giving scheme which enables you to give to charities of your choice on a tax free basis. See more about Payroll Giving on GOV.UK.

Make a donation

Our most important source of income is the support and donations we receive from individuals. Any gift to Chestnut Tree House – whether you’re making a single donation or monthly donation, supporting one of our appeals, or paying for a day of care – goes a long way.

You could also give a gift in memory of a loved one, give in celebration, sponsor a room or leave a gift in your Will.

Create a tribute page

An online tribute page is the perfect place to remember your loved one if you have friends and family all around the world. In this digital space you can share pictures and stories, light virtual candles and donate to your chosen charities for years to come, no matter where you are. Create a tribute page.
