2,000 adventurers of all experience levels and ages will walk, jog or run this classic capital to coast route.

Grab your walking shoes and take on this city to coast challenge

Whether you want to walk or run the full 100km distance or take on the half or quarter options, there’s a challenge for everyone!

Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.

More details about The London to Brighton Challenge
  1. Visit the Ultra Challenge website.
  2. When you sign up you’ll be asked what sponsorship option you want to choose. Select ‘Option 2 – Sponsorship for charity’ or ‘Option 3 – Mixed Fundraising for Charity’ if you want to raise money for us.
  3. Select Chestnut Tree House under the ‘Other charity’ option.
  4. Get in touch with us once you’re done and we will send you a bespoke fundraising pack!

You can choose whether you want to take on 25km, 50km or 100km distances.

The Full route (100km) routes starts at Richmond and can be done as a continuous challenge, or as a ‘Daylight 2 Day’ option with camping halfway.

The Half (50km) option begins at Richmond and ends at Tulley’s Farm, or you can choose to start there and end in Brighton.

The Quarter (25km) option takes you from Richmand along the River Thames to Oak Parks, near Sutton.

Charity Sponsorship–you pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place!

  • 25km:Reg fee £10 / fundraising target £250
  • 50km:Reg fee £20 / fundraising target £395
  • 100km:Reg fee £30 / fundraising target £5952

Mixed Funding–pay half of the event place cost yourself, fundraise a bit less and we pay the balance of the event place cost.

  • 25km:Reg fee £45 / fundraising target £135
  • 50km:Reg fee £72.50 / fundraising target £218
  • 100km:Reg fee £110 / fundraising target £3303

Self Fund–you pay the full cost of the event place-fundraise whatever you want, with no set target or deadline, and there’sno cost at all to the charity! 25km: £79 50km: £129 100km: £198
