Brighton Half Marathon is one of the major running events on the half marathon calendar. A beautiful seafront course, amazing atmosphere, and crowds of Team Chestnut support.
Starting and finishing on Madeira Drive, the Brighton Half Marathon takes in the best sights the city has to offer such as the stunning Brighton Pavilion and famous Brighton Pier, as well as fabulous stretches of coastal road from Ovingdean Cliffs to Hove Lagoon.
You’re guaranteed a picturesque view and roaring crowds all the way round…check out the Brighton Half Marathon Race Course.
Registration for the 2019 Brighton Half Marathon is now closed, however if you already have a place in the race you can still run for Team Chestnut and fund raise for us to support the vital work we do.
Get in touch if you need a fundraising pack and running vest.
If you missed your place in this year’s Brighton Half Marathon, we have a few places left in the Brighton Marathon and BM10K. Or fill out an enquiry form where to apply for our other running events.
• Our ‘cheer squad’ will be on the route to cheer you on. Remember to wear your Chestnut Tree House vest so you stand out from the crowd.
• We’ll be in the Race Village with post race with refreshments and a well-earned courtesy massage.
• Join our special Facebook group to chat with other Chestnut Tree House runners and share training tips and fundraising ideas.

£157 allows a member of our Community Team to provide a few hours specialist care for a life-limited child in the child’s home, allowing the parents or carers to spend quality time together.
£285 allows us to provide for one hour of all care services at Chestnut Tree House.
£651 allows a child to spend a night at Chestnut Tree House, where they will receive specialist care and symptom management from our nursing team and be able to enjoy the hospice’s facilities.
£887 allows a nurse to support a family immediately following bereavement, helping them to plan the funeral and to say their final goodbyes to their child.
£1,500 allows our Community Team to host a Family Day for 20 families, providing a range of activities and information for the whole family to enjoy
£1,953 allows a child to spend 3 nights at Chestnut Tree House where they will receive specialist care from our nursing team and, where required, end of life care.
Aside from receiving care and symptom management, children will be able to enjoy our hydrotherapy pool, relax in the multi-sensory room and join in with a host of activities; whilst mum and dad get the chance to “recharge their batteries.”
Whilst we couldn’t do what we do without fundraisers, we couldn’t run our events without the tremendous support of our team of volunteers.
They are there to help marshall courses, register participants, direct car parking, organise bag drops, keep participants hydrated, and hand out medals.
If you have a story for the media about why you’d like to run us, please email email@example.com to tell us all about it, using the subject line News Story – Brighton Half Marathon.
