The Royal Parks Half Marathon is a closed road, central London run on Sunday 9 October 2022. Taking in some of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

If you’re using your own place to fundraise for us, we’ll send you a set of Chestnut Tree laces to keep you on track. Raise £100 or more and we’ll send you an exclusive Chestnut Tree House running vest to wear with pride.

Be a charity running hero in 2022

At Chestnut Tree House, kids can be astronauts for the day in the multi-sensory room, discover creepy crawlies on a woodland walk, or form their very own pop group in the music room. It is a place where parents can just be parents and where siblings have people to talk to who understand.

More details about Royal Parks Half Marathon
  1. If you’re feeling up to the challenge, register now on the Royal Parks website.
  2. When you sign up you’ll be asked what sponsorship option you want to choose. Select ‘Option 2 – Sponsorship for charity’ or ‘Option 3 – Mixed Fundraising for Charity’ if you want to raise money for us.
  3. You’ll have the opportunity to select which charity you’re fundraising for – and you can select Chestnut Tree House under the ‘Other charity’ option.
  4. Get in touch with us once you’re done and we will send you a bespoke fundraising pack!

As event day gets closer, the organisers will update you on everything you need to know for your race. In the meantime, here are some key on the day details…

Royal Parks Half 2022 road closures: Roads will be closed during for event between 00:01 and 13:30 on Sunday 9 October…timings vary across the route but it is advisable to avoid these areas between these times as far as possible.

Getting to Royal Parks Half 2022: Find more info about parking, travel, park & ride, bag-drops, toilet locations and water stops on the Royal Parks Half 2022 website. Please be aware that public transport will be extra busy in the days around the event, so double check transport providers for more details nearer race day.

Getting your Royal Parks Half race number: You can expect your race bib to be delivered by the end of September. Bibs will be delivered by standard post and no signature will be required upon delivery.
